Kings Cross Police meetings

The Kings Cross Police hold quarterly community meetings at which they present crime statistics for the last quarter and answer questions from the community. All members of the community are welcome to attend.

These meetings are a great opportunity for local residents to raise any police related issues with the Commander of the LAC.

If you would like to attend please can you contact the Kings Cross Crime Prevention Officer on 02 83560099 and advise if you have any items you wish to be added to the meeting agenda. All members of the community are welcome.

The details of the 2012 meetings are below.

Kings Cross/Potts Point/Elizabeth Bay Community Meeting:
Rex Centre, 58A Macleay Street, 7pm start

Thursday 6 December

Woolloomooloo Community Meeting:
Mary Macdonald Centre, corner Bourke & Charles Street, Woolloomooloo, 7pm start

    I agree with the recent proposal for Kings Cross businesses to pay for policing due to the problems caused to the community by those businesses, such as alcohol related violence.

    This would free up taxpayer funded resources for residents.
